Kapaa Sands is an old style condominium development that once was a small hotel. There are only 24 condominiums on the 1.2 acre site, but it is prime Oceanfront property. Due to the layout of the buildings, not all of the units have ocean views, but the ocean-side units sure do !! These were built in 1969 and there is a swimming pool here too. There are only studio units with one bath and two bedroom units with one and a half baths.
It is a relatively short walk to the Coconut Marketplace where one can find over 70 shops and restaurants. Almost across the street is the Kinipopo Shopping Center which is a smaller center that has some specialty shops and restaurants.
