Lawai Beach Resort is located in the Poipu Resort area and is right across
the street from the ocean.  The only thing between this resort and the
ocean is a small county street.  There is a small sandy beach that is well
protected from normal waves, so there is snorkeling activity most of the
time.  Also across the street is a top quality restaurant.  It is a short five
minute drive to a fabulous beach at the Poipu Beach Park.  There are lots
of restaurants, golfing, shopping, swimming, etc., all within a short ten
minute drive from this location.

This Resort consists of three buildings that were built at different times.
The first was the Coral Building which was built in 1983, the next was
the Alii Building that was built in 1991 and the most recent was the Banyan
Building in the late 1990's. Since each building was built at different times, 
the units were sold separately from each other. This means the owners 
stay in the building where they purchased, unless they trade out.
